While he mixes, Kotto plays beats on the pads and percussion over the music. Your guests don’t just hear the songs, they watch them being played, and that is what pulls people onto the dance floor.

What’s included

Sound & lights on request

Kotto plugs into the venue’s sound system. If the quinta or hotel doesn’t have one, sound and lighting can be arranged separately, with their own quote.

Does Kotto play at the cocktail hour and dinner, or just the party?

He can play the whole day. During cocktails and dinner the music is calmer and the volume lower; the full 3-in-1 starts when the dance floor opens.

Can we choose the songs?

Yes. Before the wedding you choose the first dance, the entrances, the must-plays and the songs you don’t want to hear. On the night, Kotto reads the room and adjusts the set.

What if the venue has no sound system?

Kotto brings his decks, sampler and percussion and plugs into the venue’s sound. If there is none, sound and lighting can be arranged separately, with their own quote.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you can: the Algarve wedding season, May to October, fills up fast. Send your date and you’ll hear about availability within 48 hours.

Does Kotto speak English?

Yes, Portuguese and English, which helps when the couple or the guests come from abroad.
